
Team 22: Software Controlled Robotic-Assisted Surgery Guidance System
Abstract

Operating rooms rely on compact, integrated systems for safety and efficiency. Our team developed a robotic-assisted surgery prototype using software-based constraints to drastically reduce the size of current systems. Our prototype identifies a patient-specific pivot point, accounts for instrument length, and provides guided workflow to support the OR staff during procedures.
