Abstract
Why does an hourglass use sand instead of water? The Granular Flow Laboratory Project explores this concept by designing a transportable display demonstrating granular vs. fluid flow. Three demonstration units allow users to observe flow behaviors firsthand. Combining engineering principles with hands-on learning, this project serves as an interactive, educational tool for outreach and research.
