Team 10: Adaptive Pool Cue for Quadriplegics
Abstract
We partnered with Quality of Life Plus and River Deep Foundation to create an adaptive pool cue designed specifically for use by quadriplegic veterans. Activated by a head switch, the user can power and shoot the cue on command with alignment help from an able-bodied therapist. Our electromechanical design helps the veteran community find therapy through the natural feel of playing billiards.
