Abstract
The Optimized Medtronic RAS Device enhances the HUGO Robotic Assisted Surgery system by refining wrist and elbow joint designs, integrating a vacuum-based surgical draping system, consolidating cable management, and adding haptic feedback for better tactile sensing. Our full-scale robotic arm segment demonstrates these innovations, paving the way for future Medtronic advancements that better support surgeons and patients.
