Team 02: Removable Device for Nerve Stimulation

Abstract

Peripheral nerve injuries impact 16.9 per 100,000 US citizens every year, often leading to incomplete recovery. Electrical stimulation shows promise in nerve regeneration, yet current solutions require stimulation in surgery. In collaboration with Dr. Irwin at Children’s Hospital Colorado, our team is developing a biocompatible, removable device to provide targeted stimulation post-operatively.
