Team 01: Machine Tab Remover
Abstract
Removing work-holding tabs from aerospace components is currently a challenging process. Our design features a precision tooling process for safe, efficient, and consistent tab removal with no more than 0.002 inches of remaining tab material. This patent-pending innovative process will reduce cycle times, improve part quality, and strengthen Accu-Precision’s leadership in the aerospace industry.
