Mechanical Engineering Excellence Fund (Number 0121123)

This general fund is used by the chair to support the most critical needs in the department on an on-going basis.  Your gift will fund the department’s priorities which include the hiring and retention of world-class faculty, purchase of equipment used for teaching and cutting-edge research, expansion and modernization of facilities used by students and faculty, and the recruitment of the best and brightest students.  Gifts made to this fund are immediate so that the department can take advantage of opportunities as they arise.

Mechanical Engineering Capstone Design Fund – Graduate Fellowship (Number 0123648)

The entire amount of your gift will got to attract, support, and retain talented graduate students.  Competition among universities is tight and your gift will enable us to offer a better package to top graduate candidates who are interested in working with our world-renowned faculty to further our knowledge in the many fields of research in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Endowed Faculty Chairs, Professorships, and Fellowships

These endowments allow us to attract, support, and retain the very best faculty members by providing them with a salary supplement, discretionary funds for research and scholarly work, and the prestige associated with a named position.  In turn, these faculty members bring substantial resources and enhanced reputation to the Department of Mechanical Engineering, the college, and CU Boulder.  Please email Caroline O’Connor for more information on these endowments.
