The college is seeking nominations for the 2025 Caelan B. Lapointe Memorial Graduate Scholarship. Established by Dr. Caelan Lapointe, an expert in computational fluid dynamics who received his PhD in mechanical engineering from CU Boulder in 2021, the scholarship is geared towards graduate students who have shown exceptional achievement or potential in computational science and engineering.
One scholarship will be awarded to a current CEAS graduate student in the amount of $4,000. PhD and MS students at any stage of their education will be considered and additional preference will be given to students who are active participants in the Campos Student Center.
Faculty advisors should email a nomination packet to megrad@colorado.edu that includes a nomination letter, a student CV and a personal statement from the student outlining their research and activity with the Campos Student Center by 5 p.m. on Monday, November 3 for full consideration.
