Alumni Erin Huck, Jake Riley compete in Tokyo Olympics
Huck, a graduate of Estes Park High School, competed in the mountain bike event, finishing 31st after a rainy 20.55-kilometer race.
Riley, a recent master's graduate of the department, will compete in the marathon. Riley's exciting second-place finish in the Olympic qualifier and his path as a professional runner was recently chronicled in the Coloradan alumni magazine.
