I come from a beautiful town in the coast of Spain called Tarragona where the combination of beaches, food and environment make it probably the best place to live in the planet.

After graduating as a civil engineer in Technical University Barcelona and working a full year at a water management company, I received a Balsells Fellowship to pursue a master's degree at CU Boulder in 2013. I liked the research so much that I decided to start my PhD right after that.

Now I'm a third year student working in Prof. Vernerey's lab trying to understand the role of microstructure in the mechanics of membranes and how we can actively design it to achieve certain behaviors.

Outside school I am a road bike enthusiast, but my biggest hobby is to dabble in the kitchen (I'm excellent at it).
