CU-CMC Transfer image

Students who begin at Colorado Mountain College – Steamboat Springs Campus can transfer directly to CU Boulder to finish their degree in engineering. Thanks to an integrated partnership and a pre-engineering program, this pathway can be attractive to both community college students, as well as qualified high school students taking concurrent enrollment classes with CMC-Steamboat Springs.

CU Boulder Engineering and Colorado Mountain College have designed this pathway to support a more streamlined transition between colleges and give you a detailed view of what your academic plan will look like.

At CMC, you can complete classes before transferring to CU Boulder and have the peace of mind that your credits will apply directly to your engineering degree.

CMC-Steamboat Springs boasts a pre-engineering program that teaches hands-on design classes, small classes with one-on-one interaction, expert faculty members in the field of engineering, and a broad curriculum that covers design, manufacturing, mechanics and thermal sciences.

Students can also take advantage of sophomore-level engineering courses that transfer directly to CU Engineering, making programs like Architectural, Civil and Mechanical engineering even more flexible.
