Photonics and Quantum Engineering Research
Photonics and quantum engineering harness light and quantum phenomena to create technologies that measure, compute and monitor the world with unprecedented precision. Our faculty develop lasers, integrated photonic systems, imaging platforms and semiconductor devices, as well as enabling emerging quantum technologies. These advances also drive applications from advanced imaging tools for medical research and neural activity mapping to future quantum sensing, network and computing capabilities.
