Master of Science in Data Science at CU Boulder

Students will develop knowledge and skills in interdisciplinary and collaborative data science competencies including statistical analysis, data structures and algorithms, data mining, machine learning, big data architecture, and data visualization. Learn the skills, competencies, and knowledge necessary to fuel creative problem-solving, adaptability and the capability to communicate effectively across diverse organizations.

  • You may take up to twelve credit hours of our 30-credit MS in Data Science, while you pursue your bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
  • Six credit hours can be simultaneously applied toward your bachelor's and graduate degree requirements. For your simultaneously applied credits, you can choose from these courses:
