The National Academy of Engineering has invited Assistant Professor Andrew Goodwin to participate in its 2016 U.S. Frontiers of Engineering Symposium.
The symposium, which accepts only 100 engineers from industry, universities and government labs to attend, takes place Sept. 19-21 in Irvine, Calif.
Participants will attend presentations and breakout sessions featuring some of the nation’s best researchers on four broad topics: Technologies for Understanding and Treating Cancer, Pixels at Scale, Water Desalination and Purification, and Extreme Engineering. The event’s goal is to unite engineers with diverse specializations to exchange ideas and new approaches to sustain innovation in the United States.
Goodwin joined the CU Boulder faculty in 2012.
