CU Boulder in Boulder, Colorado is a living laboratory of natural resources with access to national labs like NREL, NCAR, and NIST. The Boulder has a multitude of natural resources for research and experiments not to mention recreation. Currently, the Mortenson Center is conducting climate research on the Yampa river - research that will have important impacts on the future of water in Colorado and beyond. 

We offer two programs  in conjunction with the Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering department and the Environmental Engineering Program, that have an emphasis in Global Engineering:

All programs require 30 credit-hours of graduate-level courses with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00. For students who have undertaken prior graduate study, up to 9 hours of relevant graduate-level coursework may be transferred to meet the course requirements for the M.S. degree.
