We created the Be Boulder Pact two years ago to eliminate course and program fees in order to save the student body $8.4 million each year. We’ve also decreased mandatory fees in a continued effort to make education affordable for families. However, mandatory fees support various programs beneficial to students, such as student services, student activities, technology and capital construction for academic buildings.
