Tuition rates are based on residency (in-state, out-of-state, international), guarantee group, type of degree and number of credit hours. Exception: Undergraduate out-of-state and international tuition is a flat rate for 1–18 credit hours in fall and spring. The following detailed tuition and fee rate sheets include tuition, mandatory fees and housing rates per semester. Rates may be subject to change. See annual cost estimates for a general overview of costs.

Undergraduate students in Tuition Guarantee Group Q (first-year students and transfers whose first term of enrollment is Summer 2021, Fall 2021 or Spring 2022) and most graduate students will pay a discounted tuition rate due to a one-time post-pandemic tuition credit of 3% from CU Boulder for this academic year only (2021–22). This credit lowers tuition for this academic year by essentially absorbing the 3% tuition increase approved by the Board of Regents. Beginning next year and in subsequent years, Group Q's Guaranteed Tuition Rate and graduate rates will resume at the normal tuition rate with potential increases considered and approved by the Board of Regents.
