Tuition Guarantee Groups are based on undergraduate students' start term. Knowing your group will help you find the tuition and fee rates that apply to you.

- Students first enrolled in Summer 2023 pay Group R rates in Summer 2023 and then move to Group S rates starting in Fall 2024. See Tuition & Fee Rate Sheets for specific rates by guarantee group.
- Most degree programs at CU Boulder can be completed in four years if a student completes a full-time course load (15 to 16 credits or more per semester). The guarantee encourages maintaining a schedule that allows for graduation within a four-year period. Students whose education at CU Boulder exceeds four years will pay the rate assigned to the group following your initial group. (For example, if you were in Group Q for four years and plan to enroll for one more year, your original guarantee period has ended, and you then move into Group R.)
