  • 2025–26 Mandatory Student Fee Changes: The following changes to fees will be in effect starting in Fall 2025; student services will remain the same:
    • The A&S Tech (ASSET) Fee will be eliminated for all students starting in Fall 2025.
    • The following fees will be converted to tuition starting in Fall 2025 and will no longer be assessed individually (student services will remain the same): Arts & Cultural Enrichment Fee, Career Services Fee, Mental Health Resource Fee, Student Computing Fee, Student Health Fee and the Transit Pass Fee.
  • Students in Tuition Guarantee Group U are incoming first-year students and transfers whose first term of enrollment is Fall 2025 or Spring 2026.
  • Beginning in Summer 2024, students enrolled in 1–3 credit hours will pay tuition per credit hour instead of a flat rate. (CU Boulder Today - Change in tuition)
  • Tuition includes the College Opportunity Fund stipend ($116 per credit hour).
  • The New Student Fee of $232 (for domestic students) is a one-time fee and is not included above.

  • The CU/Western Partnership honors the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) and Central Plains (CP) Tuition Discount Program which allows domestic nonresident students to pay 150% of in-state tuition based on state of residence. It is awarded via a scholarship directly from the College of Engineering and Applied Science and is available only for students participating in the partnership program. The University of Colorado Boulder as a whole does not participate in the WUE or CP program.
