We invite prospective undergraduate students interested in majoring in music to visit the College of Music. It's recommended that students attend CU Music Day, or consider scheduling an individual visit.
College of Music Virtual Open House
The College of Music invites students grades 9-12 to join us for a virtual Open House event on Monday, April 12, 2021. Students will have the chance to experience everyday life in the College of Music: sit in on classes, rehearsals, private lessons, meet current students and more! This event is free and open to all high school students, but please register to attend. Registration will open in March 2021.
As part of an individual visit, with advance notice, students can choose to review the music application and admissions process, connect with a current student and/or meet with a faculty member. Start by setting up a visit through CU Undergraduate Admissions. After you’ve set up your campus tour and admissions presentation, you may set up music-specific meetings here. In response to COVID-19, the College of Music is not taking in-person visitors. However, we are more than happy to set up virtual meetings, tours and lessons. We look forward to connecting with you! Questions? Please call 720-591-3755.
Have you been admitted to the College of Music for the Fall 2021 term? Take this opportunity to spend 15 minutes talking with a current College of Music student. Ask questions about life on campus, rehearsals, time management, working with faculty and more! Fill out this form to request an appointment and we'll get back to you within two business days. Send questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The College of Music also hosts hundreds of free events every year featuring student, faculty and guest performers and music scholars. This year, due to COVID-19, most events will still go on ... but in a streamed format. Check out the CU Presents Digital website for upcoming live and recorded streamed events and plan to catch one at home!
