Prospective undergraduate students interested in majoring in music should consider visiting the College of Music. It is recommended that students attend CU Music Day, or consider scheduling an individual visit.
Note: The College of Music does not offer a minor in music. Find information for non-majors.
The College of Music invites you to visit us during CU Music Day. Events will include Q&A sessions, a sample lecture, open classes and rehearsals, campus and music building tours, and an open studio hour where students can meet and speak with faculty members. CU Music Day is free and open to all high school and middle school students, but you need to register to attend. To register, head to the Visit CU website.
As part of an individual visit, with advanced notice, students can choose to review the music application and admissions process, tour Imig Music Building, and/or meet with a faculty member. Start by setting up a visit through CU Undergraduate Admissions.
