Brian Kennedy is a Senior Project Manager at AECOM with 38 years of consulting experience involving environmental impact assessment, permitting, process management, and public involvement. Brian is the Environmental Impact Assessment Technical Practice Group Leader in the Americas region for AECOM’s Environment Business Line and the Public Involvement Practice Leader in the Americas for AECOM’s Transportation Business Line. Brian’s experience spans the planning, design, construction and operational phases of infrastructure, resource management and land development projects. Brian’s experience includes working with a wide range of public and private sector clients. Brian’s federal clients include: FHWA, FTA, FAA, BLM, USFS, DOE, DOD (USAF, US ARMY, USACE) and NPS. Brian has nationwide experience working with State DOTs, transit agencies regional and local governments and the private sector. His project experience includes working with community and regional planners, civil engineers, traffic engineers, architects, landscape architects, economists, lawyers, and a full range of environmental and energy specialists. His diverse client and project experience, in depth interdisciplinary technical understandings and innovative contributions to public engagement and communications combine to offer clients timely, technically accurate and understandable communications, documentation and compliance processes. Brian holds a B.A. in Environmental Planning and Design from California State University – Chico.
