Angie Fyfe (she, her) is a Climate solutions executive with over 30 years’ experience. In 2023, she was recognized by Google.org as 1 of 6 women leading the fight against climate change. Most recently, Angie was the Executive Director of ICLEI Local Governments for Sustainability USA where she led the team supporting 400 leading U.S. cities, counties, and regions in their climate action planning and implementation. She represented ICLEI at UN Headquarters, at a dozen global convenings in 8 countries, and led collaborations with ICLEI offices across Asia, Africa, Europe, Canada, South America, and Mexico. Angie served as the ICLEI USA chief executive / corporate secretary and a member of ICLEI’s international management team where she helped to shape ICLEI’s global strategy, contributing insights, and developing equitable decarbonization, resilience, nature, and circular solutions for local climate action.

Angie’s previous experience includes serving as the Associate Director of the Colorado Governor’s Energy Office, where she was the administrator for ARRA (EECBG and SEP) and part of the team to develop and implement 57 pieces of clean energy legislation under Governor Bill Ritter. She has also served as the executive director of the U.S. Green Building Council Colorado Chapter; as a Real Estate Product Manager of global corporate relocation services firm, and as a dot-com entrepreneur.

In August 2024, she stepped down as the ICLEI ED to make way for a new-generation leader. Since leaving ICLEI, she's provided counsel to ClimateView, a Swedish GovTech company supporting cities to accelerate their climate transition, tended to her garden, traveled, and taken up creative pursuits that have been slumbering for years.
