Sreyas Krishnan

At the time I was accepted into the Graduate Design Program, I was working at an entry-level structural engineering position and hoping to eventually transition into a full-time career as an electronic music DJ/producer ("Hollidayrain"). Ultimately unsatisfied with both of these pursuits, I maximized my second stint in Boulder to renew my passion for engineering and design. Immediately after graduation in 2016, I started working at United Launch Alliance in Centennial, CO and eventually transitioned into the Propulsion Systems Design group. In this role, I am currently on the Atlas V Tiger Team (day-of-launch console support) and helping to develop, produce and integrate flight-critical propulsion system components for use on ULA's new Vulcan-Centaur V rocket. I would love to eventually become a Chief Engineer or Program Manager!

Outside of work, I continue to produce electronic music regularly, play Right Field for the Colorado Cutthroats Baseball Club and cheer on my Buffs at Folsom Field and the CU Events Center.

Let me know if you have any questions about my career path, the industry, rocket design or anything else. Always happy to help! GO BUFFS!
