Process Development Engineer | Terumo BCT

A little about my career path: After graduation I started out at Terumo BCT as an intern in the disposables development group. At the end of the Summer there was an opening for an entry level position in the process development group that I applied for and got. From there I have continued to learn grow and progress in the organization. Since I am still relatively new to the industry my current goals are to continue to learn and grow and develop my role within the company (my specific role did not exist before I was hired so I have had to define the position and what responsibilities it consists of).

Ask me about: In my current role I am a jack of all trades for the processes used at our company. This includes RF welding, injection molding, automation, and working with people on the assembly line. I am the person that is consulted for the manufacturing feasibility (DFM/DFA) and how it affects our overall run rates and costs.

I also work with several different groups on both the product development and production side so have had experience in conflict resolution, effective communication, and juggling multiple high priority projects at once.

Outside of work I enjoy cooking, craft beer, archery, and homebrewing.
