Kent Rooks is the Managing Director of ESPecial Consultants LLC, which provides Artificial Lift solutions for oil production to oil industry. Kent is currently under contract with Quantum Reservoir Engineering Impact, a Houston based “Think Tank” that supplies internationally recognized industrial consulting services to National Oil Companies. In 2017, Kent has provided Electrical Submersible Pumping expertise to the Chinese National Oil Company in Daqing, China and for PEMEX, Ciudad del Carmen, Mexico. He is currently assisting Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
During his 39 years’ experience in the Petroleum Industry he has worked with exploration/production and service companies, 29 years of which were in international operations in Europe, Africa, South America, Asia and the Middle East. Kent has spent the last 17 years in the Middle East region during where he worked and lived in the Sultanate of Oman, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait. Kent holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado. He graduated in 1978.
