Daniel Tsvankin
Mech. Design Engineer - Pharma | Springs ATG (and previously Textron)
I joined Textron's Leadership Development Program straight out of CU (with a two-month jaunt through Europe in between, of course), completing three rotations at two business units in two years: Production Support & VA/VE at Textron Specialized Vehicles (Arctic Cat, Jacobsen, E-Z-GO) in Augusta, Georgia, then mechanical design engineering on Lycoming Engines' heavy fuel UAV engine program in Williamsport, PA. In August of this year, I moved back to Denver to begin a design engineering role with Springs ATG, making containment structures (RABS) for academic research and pharmaceutical production applications.
Ask me about: Design vs manufacturing engineering, aerospace vs consumer vs industrial/pharmaceutical industries, large versus small organizations, what part of an engineering education is industry-applicable, transitioning between roles/companies, 3D printing, travel
