Liam O'Connor has a love for machines. From designing cube satellites to tuning up bikes, he spends most of his time working with hardware and making things go. Recently, Liam and his senior design teammates formed a startup called Puppy Pal Prosthetics which obtained a provisional patent for their advancements in canine prosthetic technology. Over the summers, he’s interned at ANSYS Inc., while trying his best to also go motorcycle camping and trail run as much as possible. Following graduation in December 2019, Liam intends to pursue a graduate degree in applied mathematics. One day, he hopes to teach engineering at a place like CU Boulder.
