Community Impact Award

For me, graduating from college is a moment to pause, reflect, and say Alhamdulillah, all praise is due to God. It is not just about completing courses or earning a degree. It is about the growth I experienced along the way. It is about the late nights, the quiet struggles, the friendships, and the opportunities to lead and serve. It means learning how to navigate uncertainty with patience as the training wheels slowly come off before stepping into the real world."

Isabella Bates

BS in Computer Science + BS in Applied Mathematics
Research Award

I’m excited to pursue opportunities that integrate problem-solving, mathematics, and coding—particularly through mathematical modeling. CU Boulder prepared me not only through rigorous academics, but also through transformative experiences like the NSF-funded 5G GHOST project, where my knowledge was put to the test in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that pushed me to continuously learn and adapt alongside PhD researchers and experienced developers. Equally important were the creative spaces that allowed me to explore identity through songwriting and visual art. CU helped me grow as both a thinker and a creator."

BA in Computer Science
Community Impact Award

Don't be afraid to follow your passions, even if that means pushing against stigma and breaking down barriers. The places people overlook are often where help is needed the most."

Bella Longo

BA in Computer Science
Research Award

My time at CU has been full of different bumps and challenges, but I am leaving CU with more knowledge than I ever thought I would be able to have and a solid foundation, allowing me to take the following steps in my career. I am also grateful that I have made my grandparents proud, as they are the ones who first inspired me to be interested in science and engineering growing up, and I couldn't love the field more."
