Post-baccalaureate students graduate with Latin honors, 4.0 GPAs

The computer science post-baccalaureate program is proud to recognize the incredible achievements of 21 graduating students, the majority of which will receive Latin honors of magna and summa cum laude.

Additionally, four graduating students will receive their degree with a 4.0 cumulative GPA.

The graduates’ dedication to their studies, passion for learning and hard work through a rigorous curriculum have paid off, and program staff and faculty are thrilled to celebrate this momentous occasion with them. It takes a remarkable level of commitment and perseverance to excel academically, especially in an online program, and we are honored to have had the privilege to work with such an incredible group of students.

“The students in this program constantly surprise me with their effort and abilities,” said Faculty Director Dirk Grunwald. “They combine their prior degrees, whether that is in the liberal arts, science or other branches of engineering, with their new abilities in computer science. And by doing so, join a group of previous graduates who now work at companies like Google, Amazon, Ford and Lockheed Martin, as well as startups.”

To these students: We hope you all take pride in all that you have accomplished and use this as a launching pad for your future success. We are honored to have played a role in your journey, and we are excited to see what the future holds for you.

Congratulations once again to the spring 2023 graduating class of applied computer science
