Gallogly Professor Timothy White joined ChBE in 2018. He previously served on the faculty of Case Western Reserve University and continues to work as a Senior Research Engineer and Team Lead for the Air Force Research Laboratory. He leads the 25+ member Structured Optical Materials and Processes Research Team, facilitating a $6 million S&T portfolio. At CU, he heads up the Responsive and Programmable Group, which realizes functional utility in soft materials, and bridges chemical engineering, materials science, polymer science, mechanics, optics and applied physics.
He earned his PhD from the University of Iowa in 2006.
