• Meet with Graduate students and professors to provide input on Instrument design and fabrication
• Design and build scientific instruments for the laboratories to meet research and teaching needs of the Dept.
• Supervise Electronics Shop staff
• Facilitate coordination between both shops on projects requiring electro-mechanical functions
• Maintain and keep shop equipment, technology, software up to date and in good working order
• Schedule work to   deliver projects on time
• Keep detailed records of shop income and expenses
