Transfer credit policy

Once you’re accepted to CU Boulder and the College of Music, the Office of Admissions will evaluate your transfer credit. Then, the College of Music office will determine how that credit applies toward your degree. Please visit the University of Colorado Boulder’s Transfer Credit + Admission Criteria page for more info.

Note: We cannot evaluate your transfer credit until you have been admitted to the program. However, there’s a great online tool you can use to help you understand how your credits might transfer: CU Boulder has partnered with Transferology, a college planning and transfer credit resource. Create your own account to see what courses might transfer to CU Boulder.
