What does a CU engineer look like? Let us show you!

The College of Engineering and Applied Science, in collaboration with the BOLD Center, is part of the #ILookLikeAnEngineer campaign to showcase the diverse range of people who pursue engineering.

Take Faiza Sid-Ahmed, for example. She's a first-generation student from Sudan who chose engineering to help improve education in Third World countries. Read Faiza's story.

We will continuously highlight new stories, so be sure follow CU Engineering on our social channels.

Campaign Goals

  1. Give visibility to and normalize non-stereotypical engineers.
  2. Increase awareness of discrimination that non-stereotypical engineers face.
  3. Encourage an atmosphere of inclusion in tech.
  4. Inspire people who may not have thought of being engineers before to learn engineering skills.
