Willem (Vlakkies) Schreüder is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. He holds a B.S. in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, an M.S. in Applied Mathematics and a PhD in Applied Mathematics/Computational Fluid Dynamics from the University of Stellenbosch (South Africa) and and MS and PhD in Computer Science/Parallel Systems from the University of Colorado Boulder. He has more than 40 years of experience in mathematical modeling and data analysis, in particular basin scale groundwater models. He is a co-author of the BeoPEST model-independent parameter estimation program. His work focuses on computer graphics, system administration and network systems.
