My background is in Mathematics with focus on some geometrical and computational aspects. My interests lie within all sorts of numerical methods and discretization techniques for Scientific Computing. In my undergraduate and Master's studies I was fascinated by Computational Geometry and Computer-Aided Geometric Design techniques with applications in Animation and Computer Graphics. Subsequently, I graduated from the PhD program in Applied Mathematics at NJIT in May 2018 with a dissertation in Computational Fluid Dynamics and I am currently a PostDoctoral Research Associate at the University of Colorado at Boulder, under the supervision of Jed Brown developing an efficient, extensible, portable mathematical library (libCEED), within the Center for Efficient Exascale Discretization (CEED) of the Exascale Computing Project (ECP).
