Two CU Boulder computer science students earn major fellowships

Two Graduate Research Fellowship Program awards were given to to University of Colorado Boulder computer science graduate students in 2024. They join four other current computer science graduate students who have received the fellowship, which provides a $37,000 annual stipend and a $16,000 cost of education allowance for tuition for three years. 

These top awards recognize and support outstanding grad students from across the country in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields who are pursuing research-based master’s and doctoral degrees.

PhD students William Xie and Raquel Yupanqui have each received the honor for 2024.
