Torrie Aston Wins AIChE Poster Competition

Congratulations to Torrie Aston, who took first place in the AIChE Chemical Reaction Engineering Division Graduate Student Poster Competition held in Pittsburgh in November 2012.

Aston won for her poster titled “Novel Ferrite Materials for Efficient H2 Production and CO2 Separation Using Chemical Looping Hydrogen Production” along with co-authors Brian Evanko and Johnny Scheffe. She is advised by Professor Al Weimer and is collaborating with researchers from Sandia National Laboratories.
