• When you move from one college, school or program to another via the Intra-University Transfer (IUT) process, or for some changes of major, your tuition rate may change (see below).
    • Example: A student studying environmental design (tuition tier 2) and is accepted to the business school (tuition tier 4) for their sophomore year. Starting in the fall of their sophomore year, the student's tuition rate will change from tier 2 to tier 4. If the student is an undergraduate, they will stay in the same tuition guarantee group.
  • Changes in tuition may result in adjustments to your financial aid, too. Schedule a visit with the Office of Financial Aid to learn more.
  • Mandatory student fees will generally not change when you change school or major.
  • Your first term of enrollment is the first term (fall, spring or summer) you enrolled in CU Boulder for the very first time regardless of your school, college or program.
