The art of radio telescope maintenance
Dennis Akos (left) and two students in his lab, Jacob Spagnolli and Thomas Zapel, recently assisted in maintenance of a 60 ft. dish antenna in Haswell, Colorado, about 90 miles southeast of Colorado Springs. The facility is owned by the Deep Space Exploration Society (DSES). They are working to conduct RF radio reflection off Venus.
