Chris White

Mr. White is Director of Space Systems at General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS) responsible to Vice President Gregg Burgess. Mr. White is responsible for the business development, operational execution, and growth management of an expanding portfolio of miniature, small and medium satellite system solutions, space technologies including Optical Communications Terminals, Optical payloads, and planning across GA-EMS facilities located in Colorado, Alabama, Virginia, Massachusetts and California. Mr. White’s expertise in Program management, communications networking, machine learning and collaborative autonomy help develop space technology     

Mr. White joined GA-EMS after serving as Sr. Program Manager at GA’s Aeronautical Systems where he led the development and implementation of communications and other capabilities on the MQ-9 and MQ-1C aircraft. Previously, he led 5 technology based start-up companies and enjoyed twenty years working around the world with Motorola where he led several business units including Iridium Canada under the Motorola Satellite System Group.

Mr. White holds a BS in computer science and information technologies and a master’s in business administration.
