Tours

Tours of the Aerospace Building are offered Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 2:30 p.m., and on Fridays at 11:00 a.m, when classes are in session. Tours will not be held over winter or spring breaks, during finals week, or other weekday campus holidays. Tours run 45-60 minutes (no longer than an hour) depending on the size of the group (max. 40 participants per tour group).

We are unable to accommodate school field trip groups. Students, parents, and the public may register for our standing tour times on an individual basis using the link below.

Tours cover our building, research, and the student experience, but do not address undergraduate admissions or applications. If you have questions on this subject, please contact the CU Boulder Admissions office or email admissions@colorado.edu.

Parking

Hourly, metered parking is available in Lot 550, which is adjacent to the SEEC/SEEL building next door to Aerospace. This lot can hold approximately 80 vehicles. Do not park in the spaces along the frontage road, in Lot 556, or the "SC Zone" behind SEEC/SEEL. These are permit-only spaces.

You can also save yourself time and having to use the parking lot paystation by using the ParkMobile app to pay for parking in Lot 550 (parking zone 6340). You can use ParkMobile at all CU Boulder metered parking lots, as well as many public parking spaces throughout Boulder.

Directions from Denver

If you are coming from Denver on US 36, when you reach Boulder, take the exit onto N Foothills Pkwy. Drive approximately two miles and then turn left onto Colorado Blvd. You will then take your first right onto Discovery Dr. After turning, you will see the four story Aerospace Building in front of you and SEEC/SEEL to your right.
