Congratulation to four Smead Aerospace PhD students for earning 2020 Zonta Amelia Earhart Fellowships! The program recognizes up to 35 women annually pursuing doctoral degrees in aerospace engineering and space sciences.
The program is open to students worldwide; the four honorees from CU Boulder are the most for any university in the 2020 class.
Zonta International is a global organization of professionals empowering women through service and advocacy. The Fellowship was established in 1938 in honor of famed pilot and Zonta member, Amelia Earhart. It seeks to expand the number of women in the aerospace industry to reach gender equity.
