Through the spring semester, campus officials are providing weekly updates through CU Boulder Today.

COVID-19 vaccine required for faculty, staff and students

In support of the university’s commitment to health and safety, CU Boulder will require faculty, staff and students to receive the COVID-19 vaccine before the fall 2021 semester.

This is in alignment with the decision to institute this requirement for the CU system

The vaccine requirement will allow the campus to more fully return to a traditional campus experience for the fall 2021 semester.

Study shows vaccination level needed to reduce public health restrictions

According to a new study, at least 70% of Colorado residents will need to get vaccinated against COVID-19 before the state can safely roll back all public health restrictions and return to “normal.”

Those results come from a mathematical study led by researchers at two University of Colorado campuses—CU Boulder and the CU Anschutz Medical Campus.
