Use this form to submit a news tip, share your prepared story content or tell us about your research. We're looking for announcements of interest to our campus and stories that enrich our community.

While the CU Boulder Today publication is available 24/7 online, its email digests generally deliver to inboxes three days a week during the academic year (student, graduate student, New Buffs and faculty-staff editions) and on a more limited schedule during holidays, breaks and the summer.

Our editors collaborate on the entire spectrum of channels at CU Boulder and will help find the best time and place to share your story.

Submission Guidelines

Preferred publish date: Help us understand your timeline for sharing this information. If you have specific deadlines (a register-by date, for example) please make sure to note these in the notes field of the form. While we make every effort to accommodate requested dates, the editors reserve the right to use discretion regarding the selection of content, publish dates and slotting content into editions. Publishing typically involves a combination of posting on the website and subsequently running content, as appropriate, in the email editions; all steps in this process do not necessarily occur on the same day. Your preferred publish date is the date of posting on the website, not inclusion in editions. If you are publicizing an event, do not put the event's date in the preferred publish date field.

Attach a document: When you attach your content as a document to the form, you can simply note "see attachment(s)" in the fom. We often cannot pull text from PDF documents.

Photo: CU Boulder Today relies on quality photos to help tell your story. If there is a preferred photo, please include the high-resolution image (minimum width of 1,000 pixels, preferably 2,000 pixels) with your submission. No screenshots. Horizontal photos with an editorial perspective are preferred whenever possible. Please keep in mind the image will be displayed in a variety of crops and sizes across the CU Boulder Today website.

If no art is submitted or the asset does not meet our editorial standards, staff will select or replace the art at our discretion. If there are smaller images you would like to include in the body of the text, they should have a minimum size of 300 x 300 pixels for best results. Inappropriate or off-topic assets will cause your submission to be rejected. Please also make sure you have the rights to use the image you select. Visit our photography database for a wide variety of campus images.
