Important work-study dates

Fall 2026

August 16, 2026

• First day students enrolled in fall term can begin working for fall term.

October 1, 2026

• Deadline to begin earning fall work-study unless the student or the employer contacts our office to place a hold.

December 11, 2026

• Last working day for students graduating.​

December 19, 2026

• Last day students can work this term. Any unused work-study will be rolled over to the spring term once the final fall pay period is disbursed. 

Spring 2027

December 20, 2026

• First day students enrolled for spring semester can begin working for the spring semester.

February 1, 2027

• Deadline to begin earning spring work-study unless the student or the employer contacts our office to place a hold.

May 1, 2027

• Last working day for students graduating/leaving in the spring semester.

May 8, 2027

• Last working day of the spring term for work-study student employees. Any unearned work-study is automatically forfeited.
