The Selective Service registration requirement applies to all male U.S. citizens and male immigrants residing in the United States who are 18 through 25 years of age. If you're at least 17 years and 3 months old, you can choose to complete early registration. There are only a few exceptions to this requrement.

Failure to submit this form will result in a hold being placed on your account, preventing you from enrolling in classes. Conscientious objectors are still required to register with the Selective Service System.

To fulfill this requirement, two steps must be completed by the sixth Wednesday of the term:

1. Register Online with Selective Service
Go to the Selective Service website, click Register and then Register Online to complete and submit the registration form.

2. Complete the Selective Service Verification Form in MyCUInfo
This form certifies to the university that you've registered with Selective Service. Under Other Academic Services in MyCUInfo, click Selective Service Form. Select your campus from the drop-down menu, check the most appropriate radio button, and click Submit

Office of the Registrar staff will process your form and remove the hold (if applicable) the next business day; this is not an automatic process.
