Courses

The University Catalog contains a complete list of courses taught in the Philosophy Department. Undergraduate courses are those numbered in the 1000s, 2000s, 3000s, and 4000s, and graduate courses are 5000 and above.

The specific philosophy courses offered in a given semester changes from semester to semester. Currently registered students can find these courses through MyCUInfo (instructions on the Registrar's “Search for Classes” page). Prospective students and visitors can search for classes using the Guest Course Search.

Courses may be in any one of three modes: in-person (with a room and meeting times), remote (designated in the schedule by R: no room but online meeting times), and online (designated in the schedule by OL: asynchronous with no meeting times).

We also offer online and evening courses in philosophy at the undergraduate level through School of Continuing Education
