CLASIC Admissions
Admissions Requirements:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent in computer science, linguistics, math or science from an accredited college or university
- Undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0
- Mathematics courses:
- Calculus I and II
(1 semester required, two semesters recommended; AP credit on a university transcript accepted) - Statistics & Probability, upper division
- Calculus I and II
- Computer science courses:
- Intro to Computer Science
- Data Structures
- Algorithms (recommended)
- Intro to Programming Languages
(familiarity with two programming languages recommended; this can be fulfilled with work experience)
- Linguistics courses:
- Intro to Linguistics (with a focus on language structures)
- Additional course (morphology/syntax, semantics, formal semantics) recommended
- 3 letters of recommendation
- Personal statement of purpose
- GRE scores (required for all applicants)
- TOEFL score of 83 (IBT) or higher, an IELTS score of 6.5 or higher, or a Duolingo score of 120 or higher for international applicants whose post-secondary education was not in English

CLASIC admits students for Fall semester only. All applications materials must be received by the deadlines below.
International applications: December 15th, 10:00pm MST
Domestic applications: January 15th, 10:00pm MST
