If you're a new law student applying for financial aid for the first time, we've listed steps and resources to help you.
How to apply for aid
Complete the FAFSA
Law students do not need to provide parent information on their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). To review your financial aid application status, log in to Buff Portal.
Check your email
We’ll email financial aid offers to new students when they're ready to accept or decline.
Accept or decline
You must accept the loans you want in Buff Portal. If you're a first-time borrower, you may have to complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN) & entrance counseling. Grants, scholarships & work-study are auto-accepted for you.
