What could delay your aid?
Check Buff Portal to ensure your aid is on track to apply to your bill on time.
Accept your financial aid & loans if you'd like them.
Check your enrollment level. Reminder, most scholarships require you to enroll full time & federal loans require at least half-time enrollment.
Review your Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status. If you've gotten more than one warning, you won't be eligible to receive aid.
Spring bill
You may already see tuition charges on your bill, but it's not due until Thursday, Feb. 5. If you have charges after the initial bill is paid, such as textbooks or digital course materials, you'll receive a bill notification.

Payment plans
Students, or their authorized payers, may be able to enroll in a payment plan. Re-enrollment is required every semester to continue paying on a monthly basis.

- Jan. 4: 4-payment plan sign up deadline
- Feb. 4: 3-payment plan sign up deadline
- March 4: 2-payment plan sign up deadline
Borrow a loan
You may want to consider a Parent PLUS loan or private loan. The process takes a few weeks. If you act now, you may still be able to cover your spring bill before late fees are added after Feb. Apply each semester you need the loan. For private loans, timing can vary depending on your lender. Once your private loan is certified by our office, it will take 10 to 12 business days for it to hit your bill.
